MPD Public Safety Division 5 is a special division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department that specializes in devil crime investigation. This division is kept hidden from the public in order to better protect the safety of devils. Because their cases relate directly to devils, it is common for squads to contain one or two devil members in order to assist in the apprehension of devil suspects.
